Kaleido is BHCS's new early education program for children ages 2–5 — a playful, caring space where every day looks a little different.
Every child is a little kaleidoscope.
Turn a kaleidoscope and the same few pieces make an entirely new pattern — that's early childhood, too. In our classrooms, movement turns into music, blocks turn into bridges, and questions turn into discovery. Kaleido brings together play, language, art, and hands-on exploration so every child's day looks a little different, and a lot like them.
Play, the whole curriculum
Guided play is how young children build language, motor skills, and confidence — so it anchors every part of our day, not just recess.
Small groups, close attention
Low ratios mean teachers know each child's pace, interests, and the questions they haven't asked yet.
Ages 2–5, one community
Toddler, preschool, and pre-TK classrooms share a campus, so friendships and routines carry through the years.
Right on the BHCS campus
Kaleido opens at our Foster City Rec Center campus, alongside the after-school program families already know.
